These terms are an agreement between you and TrustSpring about your use of the TrustSpring app and gettrustspring.com (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you use TrustSpring for a business, you agree on behalf of that business and confirm you have authority to do so.
1.The Service
TrustSpring lets a business connect the review profiles of its locations, bring their reviews into one workspace, draft replies by hand or with AI, and publish replies it approves. A business can also turn on automatic replies for star ratings it chooses, subject to the hold times, daily caps and pause controls it sets.
We may add, change or remove features over time. We will try to give notice before removing a feature you rely on.
2.Accounts and teams
You must give accurate information when you sign up and keep your email address current, because that is how you sign in. You are responsible for activity under your account and must tell us promptly at support@gettrustspring.com if you think it has been accessed without permission. You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract to use the Service.
The person who creates a business in TrustSpring is its first owner. Owners and admins decide who else has access, to which locations, and with which role, and are responsible for those choices and for their team’s use of the Service.
3.Connecting review profiles
You may connect only review profiles and business listings that you own or are authorised to manage, including when you manage them for a client. Connections are made through our review integration partner and the review platform’s own sign-in; your use of each platform stays subject to that platform’s terms and policies.
Review platforms and integration partners are run by third parties. They can change or restrict access, rate-limit requests, or require you to reconnect or add a payment method with them. When that happens, syncing or publishing may pause until it is resolved. We will show you when a connection needs attention, but we are not responsible for third-party outages or changes.
Google and Google Business Profile are trademarks of Google LLC. Other platform names are trademarks of their owners. TrustSpring is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Google or any other review platform, and uses their names only to identify the services it connects to.
4.Replies, AI drafts and automation
You are responsible for what you publish. A reply published through TrustSpring appears publicly under your business’s name on the review platform. This is true whether a person wrote it, AI drafted it and a person approved it, or an automation rule you enabled sent it.
AI drafts can be inaccurate, incomplete or inappropriate for the situation. Read each draft before you approve it. The Service holds back reviews and drafts that look sensitive, such as those mentioning injury, legal action, refunds or medical matters, but these safeguards are controls to help you, not a guarantee, and not legal, medical or compliance advice.
Automation is off until an owner or admin turns it on. If you turn it on, you authorise TrustSpring to publish replies on your behalf within the settings you choose, and you remain responsible for those settings and for the replies sent under them. You can pause automation for one location or the whole business at any time.
5.Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- publish replies that are unlawful, defamatory, harassing, discriminatory or misleading;
- disclose a reviewer’s or customer’s private information, such as health, financial or contact details, in a public reply;
- post fake reviews, pressure or pay people for reviews, or otherwise break the rules of the review platforms you connect;
- connect listings you are not authorised to manage;
- interfere with the Service, probe it for vulnerabilities without our permission, get around its limits or permissions, or access it by automated means other than features we provide; or
- resell or give access to the Service except as we allow in writing.
6.Your content
You keep ownership of the content you bring into or create in TrustSpring, including your brand voice settings and replies (“Your Content”). You give us a limited licence to host, copy, process and transmit Your Content only as needed to run the Service for you, including sending it to our service providers and publishing replies you approve.
We do not use Your Content to train AI models. How we handle personal information in Your Content is described in our Privacy Policy.
7.Our property
The Service, including its software, design and the TrustSpring name and logos, belongs to us and our licensors. These terms give you the right to use the Service, not ownership of it. If you send us feedback, we may use it without obligation to you.
8.Fees
Some features or plans may require payment. We will tell you the price and terms before you are charged, and you will be able to choose whether to continue.
9.Ending your use
You can stop using the Service at any time, and can ask us to close your account at support@gettrustspring.com. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms, if your use creates risk for others or for us, or if we are required to by law. Where reasonable we will give you notice first and a chance to fix the problem.
When an account ends, publishing and syncing stop. Replies already published stay on the review platforms, because they are part of those platforms. We handle the data that remains as described in our Privacy Policy.
10.Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that every review will be synced or that every reply will be published, or that AI drafts will be accurate. We do not control reviews, reviewers or review platforms.
11.Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, TrustSpring will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill or data, arising out of or related to the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim arose and USD $100.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limits, so some of these may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12.Indemnity
If a third party brings a claim against TrustSpring arising from replies you publish, listings you connect, Your Content, or your breach of these terms, you agree to defend and indemnify us against that claim and the costs that result from it, to the extent the law allows.
13.Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top of this page, and for significant changes we will tell account owners by email or in the app before they take effect. If you keep using the Service after a change takes effect, the new terms apply.
14.General
These terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service. If a provision is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our not enforcing a right is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer these terms without our consent; we may transfer them as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
